If you are just now tuning into this series for the first time, we have been asking our team a series of questions, so that we can get their answers out there in an effort to help you get to know them better! This week, MedFare is excited to introduce our own Tracy Radford to you! Keep reading to get to know her a little better.
1. How did you get started in this industry?
I was given the opportunity to be part of a tight family based company and jumped aboard. Being new to this industry might have been overwhelming but I had a great support system with my peers to help me become proficient. I am proud to play a role with such an amazing team.
2. What is your position at MedFare? What are some of your key responsibilities?
National Accounts Manager. I strive to build new clientele while maintaining my existing accounts. I truly look forward to meeting new clients and assisting them with their questions and concerns.
3. What brought you to the Lake of the Ozarks, MO or Boca Raton, FL, depending on which dept. you work in?
My family moved to Osage Beach from a small farming community in Northern Missouri in the early 90’s so have pretty much always been a “Laker” The Lake of Ozarks is truly one of the most beautiful places to live, work and play!
4. Where did you attend school?
After graduating from Camdenton High School I attended Lake Career and Technical Center
5. What do you enjoy the most about your job?
Knowing we at MedFare are making a difference in health care industry. I’m passionate about the welfare of others.
6. How do you enjoy spending your time when not at work?
Aside from spending time with my family I enjoy gardening of any kind, from flowers to veggies. As a child I was taught the importance of preserving the art of horticulture. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment to set my family down at the dinner table and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
7. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I had grand illusions of being a dance choreographer for Broadway.
8. What is your dream vacation destination? Why?
A trip to Europe with the main focus on visiting Croatia has been a dream of mine for years. To experience different counties and cultures would be fascinating, plus it looks beautiful in pictures so in person must be breathtaking.
9. What is something few people know about you?
I am a bit of a germaphobe. I am very diligent on good hand washing practices for myself and those around me. Germs are no one’s friend!
10. If you won the lottery, what would you do?
You have to play to win and I don’t normally make a point to play. In the very off chance of winning I would donate to several organizations, locally and internationally. Of course I would keep some of the winnings to spoil my children.
