The History of MedFare
Did you know that MedFare has been around for over 46 years? We are very passionate about what we do. We enjoy providing mealtime solutions to facilities all across the United States. The History of MedFare
MedFare was founded by Howard Schubert and has been in the business of providing printed materials for Healthcare & Hospitality since 1974. In October of 2016, MedFare was acquired by Lake Printing, Inc., a Missouri Corporation. Lake Printing is a full service printing company serving the industry for 69 years. Lake Printing is a privately held family corporation with a great history of quality and customer service. Lake has been printing for MedFare since 2012.
Products we provide include Traycovers, Menus, Napkins, Placemats, Napkin Bands, Dietary Kits & Pouches, Diet Cards, Tray Cards/Tickets/Slips, as well as an assortment of Wipes for cleaning both hands and surfaces and Touchless Cutlery Dispensers along with the Cutlery that goes in them. We also have the ability to create customized printed programs utilizing the talents of our in house Graphic Design Department.
MedFare has the fastest shipping times in the industry. MedFare warehouses and ships from the Midwestern United States. All stock orders are processed and shipped out within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the order and customers receive their orders within 3 to 7 business days. Custom orders are produced and shipped out within 3 to 4 weeks of receiving final artwork approval.
We serve independently managed facilities as well as members of Food Management and Group Purchasing Organizations, including, but not limited to Vizient, Vizient Preferred Pediatric, Acurity, HPS, GSA, Encompass Health, and Yankee Alliance. We have also created relationships with distributors which allow customers to receive products at their convenience.
